Morphi Edu is a simple, powerful and easy to learn 3D design and modeling app used to create, edit and render 3D models for AR+VR, 3D Printing, Animation, Game Design, Storytelling, Visualization, Graphic Design and all other types of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) and maker education projects. Connect with us directly at [email protected].

Morphi Edu IS IDENTICAL to our freemium app Morphi on iPad, EXCEPT it’s a paid app with no in app purchase + we offer a 50% volume discount for schools purchasing Morphi Edu through Apples Volume Purchase Program for 20+ purchases.

To test Morphi Edu, first download freemium Morphi on iPad and try all our 3D design tools for free (but not file import/export) prior to purchasing Morphi Edu. We encourage you to especially try AR and 3D Render as they are device specific. 3D Render IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CERTAIN OLDER IPADS (including 7th + 8th Generation), but is available on iPad (6th Generation), on iPad Pro and newer devices.

Every day people of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels use Morphi to create, sketch, invent, prototype, visualize, teach, tell stories, explain ideas and much more. Vertical farming system prototypes, assistive drawing devices, model rocket parts, biodesign lighting, casings for robots + electronics, compostable couture gowns, characters for animated shorts, bubblewands, jewelry, cookie + pottery cutters, self portraits, plates for printmaking + AR artworks. These are some of the hundreds of thousands of projects designed by members of our community since Morphi was released on iPad in 2014.

Morphi Edu has many tools to empower people to hone their creative thinking + visualization skills + more easily express and evolve their ideas in 3D, including:

-Design anywhere without logins or a WiFi connection.

-Sketch + draw 3D models, including using freehand, straight lines + 2D shapes to draw, symmetry, revolving lines, erasing lines, vector drawing and editing with control points + other 2D to 3D tools.

-Transform high contrast images (jpgs, pngs, svgs) into editable 3D designs.

-Robust CAD tools, including intersect, arrays + other tools for creating more complex designs.

-Place, edit + view 3D models in enhanced Augmented Reality using Apple’s ARKit such as snapping designs to horizontal planes, vertical planes + AR codes (available only for iPads with A9+ processors that support ARKit).

-Place + edit designs in Augmented Reality on older iPad models without A9+ processors using our basic tools for these devices.

-Add texture/materials from images or videos to your 3D designs.

-Import 3D models (STL+OBJ files) from other 3D modeling apps.

-Export 3D models (STL +OBJ files) for 3D printing, game design, animation, for further editing in other 3D modelers and for uploading to other AR/VR devices, like Hololens, Occulus + Merge Cube.

-Incredible rendering tools for creating photorealistic images of your 3D models (available only for certain iPads as detailed above)

-Typing tools for 3D text using a variety of fonts.

-Simple 3D lithophane tool to create 3D printed etchings + terrain.

-Quick lighting options.

-Change the background + grid to create more engaging scenes or export 3D designs with transparent backgrounds for graphic design.
